There are 208 pages in the Big Book of Christmas Knits beginning with guides to help you use all of the patterns and projects in the book.
Scandinavian patterns feature a lot of colorwork, stranded knitting, and duplicate stitches. The basics section covers all of that information and more to make the most of this knitting style. In addition, there’s a section on reading charts, knitting abbreviations, and how to choose the right materials for your projects.
Linvik leaves nothing to chance and also provides details on how to make pompoms, i-cord, fringe & doll hair, and felting.

Dolls
When I was a girl, one of my favorite parts of the holidays was decorating. My mother would unpack all of the decorations along with a few holiday toys that we could play with during this special time of year. The Big Book of Christmas Knits includes three dolls to knit that work as both decoration and play toys.
