#1. Gather Round Tunic Free Knitting Pattern

Gather Round is a top-down pullover worked in a beautiful combination of single-ply fingering weight yarn with a laceweight silk and mohair blend.

The simple silhouette is neatly finished with I-cord detailing at collar, cuffs, and hem resulting in an elegant layering piece that can be dressed up or down. The tie at the hemline adds a unique detail to an otherwise minimalist garment. Wear this alone or over a long-sleeve tee!

Uses 1 strand of lace + 1 strand of fingering = worsted weight yarn

Terrazzo Slipover Tunic Knitting Pattern

#2. Terrazzo Slipover Tunic Knitting Pattern

This slipover sweater may just be the ultimate layering piece! It’s a sleeveless pullover vest with a tunic length and turtleneck collar. You’ll stay warm yet have your hands and arms free for movement.

Terrazzo Slipover is worked from the top down. First the back section of the yoke is worked, then the shoulders, which are joined to form the front section of the yoke. The back and front and joined at the bottom of the armholes to form the body, which is worked in the round to the hem, which has a slit at each side. At the end rib armhole edges are worked, as well a turtleneck from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck opening. The rib edges are worked as twisted rib, to create a very defined rib pattern.

#3. Gulfstream Tunic Knitting Pattern

Gulfstream is a lovely tunic sweater pattern featuring wavy detailing at neckline and center front. Don’t let this intricate stitch detail fool you! Because it’s knit from side to side, it’s a much easier knitting project than it looks like at first glance.
The tunic is decorated with a vertical panel of 5 wave lines created with short-rows in garter (main body of the tunic is worked in stockinette).

Ola Lace Women’s Top Knitting Pattern

#4. Ola Lace Top Knitting Pattern

Wavy lace detailing on the shoulders, upper back, and bottom hem provide old world elegance with a chic modern feel on the Ola Top.

It’s worked by starting from the upper back up to the shoulder then separating for each front. Both fronts are knitted separately, then joined and knitted flat until the underarms.

Stitches are picked up from the CO edge of the back, then the back and front are jointed together and knitted in the round for the rest of the body.

Himiko Women’s Tunic Sweater Knitting Pattern

#8. Himiko Women’s Tunic Sweater Knitting Pattern

“Himiko” is a boxy pullover with Acorn pattern on the lower body.
The pullover is worked from the top down. After casting on, the shoulders are shaped using German short rows. The front and back are worked back and forth separately to the underarm, then joined to be worked in the round to the hem, with Acorn stitch pattern.

Sleeves stitches are picked up and worked from the top down in the round and tucks are added before the cuff. The hem and cuffs are worked in 1x1 twisted rib, and all edgings are finished with I-cord bind off.

Nell Tunic Sweater Knitting Pattern

#10. Nell Tunic Sweater Knitting Pattern

Nell is a raglan yoke tunic worked from the top down. The yoke is first back and forth, with short-row neck shaping and raglan increases, and gathers are added to the body.

The fronts are joined at the bottom of Henley neck, then the piece is worked in the round down to the hem. The sleeves, set aside at the underarm, are worked top down in the round with botanical motifs.
