How to KNIT a Boo Boo Bunny: Free Pattern!
I have a FREE knitting pattern I know you are going to love!
This is a really easy beginner knitting project you can knit for your children, grandchildren, or any child in your life.
It’s a boo boo bunny.
Now you may have seen them before made out of purchased washcloths, but I’m going to show you how to knit them and form them into an adorable bunny shape.
What is a boo boo bunny?
Boo Boo Bunnies are a must-have for parents of toddlers and small children.
Little kids fall down, that’s just a fact of life.
If they get a bump or scrape, you can make it better with a boo boo bunny.
You’ll knit a washcloth and then fold it into a sweet bunny shape.
When the child has an accident, you put a little ice in the back and hand them the bunny.
It’s a friend to keep them company while you’re caring for the wound and the ice will help reduce swelling to the area.
I'm using a machine washable yarn so it can easily be washed and refolded after use.

Now fold it again and place the hair elastic around the first third of the washcloth. This will create the bunny face and ears.

Tie a 12” satin ribbon around the neck and make a bow at the top. This will cover the hair elastic.
