Classic Top Down Socks Free Knitting Pattern

Knit from the top down, these self-striping socks become interesting as you knit from the cuff to the heel which is knit using two DPNs after you complete the toe box which is knit so the seam lies across the toe box rather than at the tip of the toes.

Your stripes will match on your socks when you use Urth Uneek Sock Kit. It comes with two skeins of yarn that begin striping at the same point.

Adult Sizes: Small (Medium, Large)

Completed Measurements: 6.5 (7.5, 8)" at widest point on calf and foot

You will need:

  • Size US 1 double pointed needles OR 9” circular needle

  • Size US 0 double pointed needles OR 9” circular needle

  • Stitch marker

  • Tapestry needle
