The video tutorial is easy to follow. If there is a tricky part, take your time, rewind and review.
This is a beginner knitting project that only uses the knit stitch and yarn overs to create a gorgeous DIY triangular-shaped shawl.
The shawl is knitted from the top down beginning with just five stitches. Then we increase every other row as the shawl continues to grow.
I used a self-striping yarn so that you don't need to be concerned about changing yarns or colors. Just knit using this type of yarn and let the colors emerge. It’s really exciting to see which color will be coming up next and how it will look in the sequence.
There is a video tutorial below that guides you through the entire project as well as a PDF pattern for you to download and follow along.
