Easy Bias Scarf Free Knitting Pattern (one skein project!)

It looks so difficult to knit a scarf on the diagonal, but I'm going to let you in on a secret, it's REALLY easy! With just one skein of Schoppel-Wolle Pur self-striping yarn, you'll be able to knit this beginner project.

Skill Level: Easy!

Completed Scarf Measures: 4.5" wide x 63" long (from point to point)

Gauge: 10 stitches to 4" in garter stitch

Bias Scarf Instructions

  • Cast on 20 stitches

  • Row 1: Knit

  • Row 2: Kfb, knit across to last two stitches, k2tog

  • Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until only a small amount of yarn remains. Bind off and weave in yarn ends.

Abbreviations

  • KFB knit front and back of stitch (increase made)

  • K2tog knit two stitches together (decrease made)
