This stitch of the week is a great way to learn lace knitting! This simple eyelet stitch pattern incorporates the techniques you need to make lace.

For the most part, lace knitting uses yarn overs and knitting stitches together to create spaces (also known as eyelets) in the work. These spaces create patterns, and ta-da!…you have lace!
