Happy Feet 100 Splash Yarn Review

The Name Says It All

With a name like Happy Feet, there's not much guessing what this yarn is all about! Happy Feet 100 Splash is a hand dyed sock yarn. I like this yarn. Actually, I like this yarn A LOT and think you will, too! What first caught my attention was the vibrant hues stippled with dabs of bright contrast colors. The color mixes remind me of very pricey small batch handpaints but brighter.  No two skeins are exactly alike either so you are guaranteed to have a truly individual project.

Body, Bounce and Endurance

Happy Feet looks really good and enticing, but how about performance?

It's springy and soft to the touch just as you would expect from a good grade merino, but it's also 10% nylon, which will help the fiber hold it's shape. You can machine wash it, too, so it will be easy care.

What to Knit with Happy Feet 100 Splash

I decided to learn what other knitters thought of Happy Feet.  What I found was that this fiber gets an overwhelming 5-star rating.  Knitters have used this fiber to create, socks, baby dresses, hats, gloves, shawls and shawlette projects. It's got great yardage, too, so for most projects you'll need only 1 or 2 skeins.

Happy knitting,
