Beginner Knitting! Pirouette Cowl Free Knitting Pattern

Here’s a cowl anyone can knit! This fun and fast project was designed by Lisa Myers and uses Manos Fino Mini Skein Set. It’s knitted in the round on a circular needle and has a tiny bit of ribbing at the beginning and end to keep it from rolling.

Pirouette is knit in a spiral to avoid the jog at the beginning/end of the round and carrying unused colors up the inside of the work.

Skill Level: Easy!

Completed Cowl Measures: 26: circumference x 13.5” high

You will need:

  • 1 Manos Fino Mini Skein Set, shown in #6 Flora

  • Size US 5 circular 16” needle

  • Stitch marker

  • Tapestry needle

Gauge: 26 sts and 38 rounds = 4” over Stockinette knit in the round
