Halloween Houndstooth features a simple slip stitch pattern that is easy to knit and creates the jagged houndstooth design. Doesn't it kind of look like little bats?
Completed Cowl Measures: 13½" long and 26" circumference, after blocking
You will need:
1 skein each of 2 colors Ewe Ewe Baa Baa Bulky Yarn, shown in Black Licorice and Orange Peel - also available as a kit
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 12 sts to 4" in stockinette stitch in the round
Pro Tip: Don't cut the yarn at the end of each stripe! Carry the alternating colors gently up the inside of the cowl to avoid having too many ends to weave in.
