Color Wave Hat Free Knitting Pattern

Looking for a relaxing, quick project? The Color Wave Hat is a great little project for knitting on the go. It uses just one ball of colorful Edition 3 yarn. I loved knitting this hat because now that the weather is warming, I wanted a light yarn that felt in my hands. This yarn is just that. It's smooth and soft, not to mention, watching the color changes was so much fun. I knitted this in just a couple hours while watching tv - that's my favorite kind of knitting project!

Note: I like the bottom band to be relaxed,. If you want a tighter fitting band, cast on with a needle one size smaller for the cast on and ribbing.

Completed Hat Measures: 18"circumference x 8.25" high, measured flat. This hat has a lot of stretch and will fit most average size heads.

You will need :

• 1 ball Schoppel-Wolle Edition 3 Yarn (available on Amazon)

• Size US 7 circular 16” needles

• Size US 7 double pointed needles

• Stitch marker

• Tapestry needle

 
Gauge: 21 sts to 4” in st st on US 7 needles
