Plymouth Linaza Yarn Review

Yarn Review: Plymouth Linaza

Yarn Review: Plymouth Linaza

What I love about Plymouth Linaza Yarn

You know I get to see lots of yarns and I'm always for looking for one that's a little bit special. Found it! It's a yarn with the extraordinary quality that I always look for and, this time, it's the deep glow of the shades of Plymouth Linaza.

Take a look at the image above.  Can you how the fiber's composition takes the color and reflects the light? It's really a shimmer or glow that will transform even the simplest ho-hum project into a special piece. There's a faint halo here, too.

How Linaza Feels

Linaza has a nice "hand" or feel. Soft, as alpaca should be, but I can feel the substance of the linen too. Not quite a crunch more like a firmness!  There are random little bits of the linen strands peeking out here and there, too. That linen is going to provide drape as well as superb stitch definition. Take a look at the image below. Its a closeup of the Linaza Shawl free knitting pattern and you'll be able to really see the lace pattern and how a project will look after blocking.
