WIP Wednesday

Knitting, and knitting...and knitting! Since this is my first WIP (work in progress) Wednesday, I pulled out all my unfinished projects. I'm a bit embarrassed...mittens I started three years ago, a cowl I completed last year and need to post as a free pattern, a cabled cardigan partially done, and a number of beautiful projects tossed aside to begin working with the newest yarn that fell into my lap.

Here are the WIPs still on my needles:

Kollage Cassandra Cowl Kit
This is the Cassandra Cowl Kit from Kollage Yarns. As part of their Feed Your Creativity Series to help you expand your knitting horizon, it features a barrel stitch pattern with a garter stitch edge. The kit includes Kollage Scrumptious (Angora/Silk) yarn. It's very soft and I love that the pattern includes both written and graphed instructions.

Scarf Pattern coming soon from Ewe Ewe Yarns
This scarf is coming along nicely. It's knit lengthwise using Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted Washable yarn. I love the smooth, yet incredibly bouncy feel of this new yarn!

Mission Falls Nikki Mittens

Don't ask me why these mittens aren't completed. I have no excuse (other than I ripped one of the double pointed needles out of the mitten because I needed it on another project and now there are live stitches just hanging there and i am too lazy to put it back on).  Anyway, up to the point of ripping out the needle, I had really enjoyed knitting these Fair Isle mittens. And seeing them photographed makes me want to the them finished. They're pretty! If you want to make your own, they are the Nikki Mittens from Mission Falls For Him and For Her Pattern Booklet. They are knit using 3 colors of Mission Falls 1824 Wool yarn.

Knit Cowl using Plymouth Zino Yarn

Manos Maria Cardigan from Primera Pattern Book

Fingerless Gloves using 1-ball Plymouth Paca Tweed yarn

Simple Scarf using Plymouth Refashion yarn

This simple scarf is coming soon as a free pattern! It's working up fast and I love the texture of Refashion yarn!

How many WIPs do you have?
