You will need:
- 4 balls Peter Pan Cupcake Yarn, shown in color 810 Rainbow Dust
- Size US 10 circular 24" or longer needle (to hold the large number of stitches)
- Finishing needle
Gauge: 12 sts to 4" in garter stitch
Cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Knit - 3 sts.
Row 2: (K1, m1) twice, K1. 5 sts.
Row 3: Knit. 5 sts.
Row 4: K2, m1, K1, m1, K2. 7 sts.
Row 5: Knit. 7 sts.
Row 6: K2, m1, K to last 2 sts, m1, K2. 9 sts.
Row 7: Knit. 9 sts.
Repeat Rows 6 and 7 until side edge measures 26" across.
Begin decreasing as follows:
Next Row: K1, SKP, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, k1.
Next Row: Knit.
Repeat last 2 rows until 5 sts remain.
Next Row: K1, sl 1, K2tog, pass slipped stitch over, k1.
Bind off remaining 3 sts and weave in yarn ends.
K2tog knit two stitches together
M1 make 1 increase (pick up the bar between the last stitch you knit and the one you’re about to knit, bringing the needle from the back to the front, then knit into the front of this stitch)
SKP slip 1 stitch, knit one stitch, pass the slip stitch over the knit stitch
