Hello Noble Knitters! It's Donna and I'm the Knitting Doctor here at NobleKnits. Today I'm going to share a yarn review with you. It is Knit One Crochet Too's Pea Pods yarn. It is a 100% cotton fiber and a worsted weight. It's going to knit between 4 1/2 to 5 stitches to the inch on a US 5 to 7 needle.
So again, it is a worsted cotton and it comes in some really nice colors. So we have your basic whites, that I'm not going to show you. I know you know what that looks like. We have rose colors, to a plum-purple, to a sage green. There are 14 colors in total. I'm just going to pick out the ones that are a little more unusual for you. These are more serene colors or what I like to refer to as "Sedona Colors." It's going to give you a very muted, very soft garment. And actually, the fiber itself is going to be very soft and drapey as well.
Now, this isn't an ordinary cotton fiber. I'm not sure if you can see this, but it's spun as a cotton tape. Right here, the yarn that is laying across my finger, you can see that it is almost a little bit elongated. It's a lozenge shape and it's spaced at regular intervals throughout. This is actually going to give you a nubby or a slubbed effect when you knit your garment.
I actually have a favorite tunic of mine which is that nubby effect. I've worn it out at the elbows. I need to recreate it and guess what?! I've found my yarn to do that.
It is going to be a cold water wash, lay flat to dry. So it is relatively easy care. This is Pea Pods by Knit One Crochet Too. I hope you enjoyed this review. If you did, give us a thumbs up. Comment below and subscribe to our YouTube Channel. Thanks so much!
