Hi Noble Knitters! It's Nancy Queen here again from NobleKnits. I'm here to talk to you today about a beautiful yarn from Berroco called Fiora. This is a luxurious blend of cotton, viscose, alpaca, nylon, and wool. It's a DK weight yarn, so it knits up at 5.5 stitches per inch and that's on a size US 5 needle. That gives you a gauge of 22 stitches to 4 inches.
It feels really nice. It's bouncy and soft. It feels smooth against your skin so it makes it nice for a lot of sweaters and other garments. I'm going to show you, Berroco actually has some really nice patterns available. We have those patterns available on NobleKnits as PDF downloads.
The first is this beautiful cardigan, it's called Louise. It's done in a wheat color. The next one I'm going to show you is called Francis. It has a little bit of a lace edging on it and detailing on the sleeve. It's a nice little summer tunic. And this one has been very popular. It's called Jane. Jane is a nice, luxurious wrap with a lot of eyelet detail. It's very pretty, nice to knit, and provides great results. Going into fall, this one would be great. Elsa, it's a nice slouchy hat with some eyelet and cable detail. This is Lydia. It's a pair of socks...nice slouchy socks with a bit of detailing here. I believe these are knitted from the top down. And finally, we have Frederika. It's a nice raglan sleeve pullover pattern with an eyelet detail center.
