Hello Noble Knitters, it's Donna and I'm the knitting doctor here at NobleKnits. Today I'm here to share with you a short video yarn review with you. This time we are going to review Knit One Crochet Too Ty-Dy yarn and it is a cotton fiber.
It is a plied fiber that is really tightly wound so you're not going to have any split stitches here and you're also going to have long color repeats in whatever colorway you've chosen. It knits at a worsted weight, size US 7 needle, and 5 stitches per inch. Of course you will be able to hand wash it, lay flat to dry.
The best thing about this yarn is, I'm just going to pick out a random ball here, the really cool colors and color combinations and color changes here. Because it's cotton, obviously it's really soft. It's going to give you nice wide, not-skimpy stripes. And your color combinations, you can see how they change from one to the next and they blend beautifully.
You'll see that there are several knitting patterns written for children's clothing out of Ty-Dy by the Knit One Crochet Too folks. It's tried and true, we've never had a bad review about the finished projects with this yarn. Again, you are really going to love this yarn! It's really great. You can use it for scarves, for cardigans, for children's wear, maybe even a kerchief like this.
I would absolutely have you take a look at this yarn because it is really, truly a great little fiber. There's almost 200 yards to the ball, it's a good value as well. This is Knit One Crochet Too Ty-Dy Cotton. I hope you like the video and I hope you heard everything you expected about this fiber.
