Knitting Giveaway: Javori Beaded Knitting Kit!



Our friends at Javori Designs have provided us with this fabulous beaded knitting kit to giveaway! The Javori Bella Ring Kit includes instructions, yarn, and beads to create two beaded rings - one is reversible and the other is a single sided ring. It's an easy to knit kit and a great way to try knitting with beads.

    The only thing I've done with beads was a tie on a wine bottle cover. I have a beret pattern with beads, but haven't started it yet. I'd love to try jewelry. My daughter creates jewelry with beads and wire and I love them.

  46. I've made bracelets with beads and also added beads to a mobius cowl. I really like knitting with beads as it changes the pattern to something different every time. I am about to make a shawlette for a charity auction and think I'll add beads to that as well. These rings are gorgeous!

    I have made knitter jewelry before. I made earrings for all my daughters last Christmas. They were made by knitting with wire and placing beads. They turned out very beautiful. I have an interest in making more knitted jewelry. In fact, I have been collecting patterns.

  73. Knitted jewelry is a great way to use the ends of balls of sock yarns and give you a coordinated look *head to toe* as it were . I love knitting jewelry, the pieces are usually quick knits, even if you have to string beads.

  82. I have knitted some of Laura Nelkins designs. I like the contrast between the yarn and the bead. I also like how quick they are to knit. I have enjoyed using yarn samples that I have gotten at "yarn tastings" for jewelry because there is usually not enough for much else.

    Crocheted items and learned to bead to teach my daughter. She REALLY wanted to learn and turned out to be amazing at it!) The selected bling in knitting and crocheting has caught my eye for a while including jewelry. Metal bothers me so knitting and crocheting are a natural way to get the beautiful bead effect.

  107. I love knitted jewelry but so far I've only knitted one piece ---a necklace from a pattern I found on Etsy. It was a bit difficult but then I'm a novice. It came out very nice though (tee hee, maybe not the way it was intended, but it's wearable!!!!!).
