ReplyDeleteI've made bracelets with beads and also added beads to a mobius cowl. I really like knitting with beads as it changes the pattern to something different every time. I am about to make a shawlette for a charity auction and think I'll add beads to that as well. These rings are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteKnitted jewelry is a great way to use the ends of balls of sock yarns and give you a coordinated look *head to toe* as it were . I love knitting jewelry, the pieces are usually quick knits, even if you have to string beads.

I have knitted some of Laura Nelkins designs. I like the contrast between the yarn and the bead. I also like how quick they are to knit. I have enjoyed using yarn samples that I have gotten at "yarn tastings" for jewelry because there is usually not enough for much else.
