Duo Cowl Free Knitting Pattern

Duo Cowl Free Knitting Pattern

I wear so much gray and black during fall and winter - I love the pop of color this easy to knit cowl provides. Pick your two favorite colors of Knit One Crochet Too's Petite Boucle yarn and you'll be able to whip up this cowl in just an or our so! Wear this cowl long and loose like a necklace, or doubled up around the neck for a pretty color blocked effect.
This simple cowl is knitted in the round - it's a perfect way for someone to try circular needles and a fabulous next step knitting project for a beginner.

Completed Cowl Measures: 10" high x 38" circumference

You will need:
Gauge: 2 sts per inch on US 11 needles

How To
Using color A, cast on 75 stitches. Place marker and join round being careful not to twist stitches.
Round 1 Knit
Repeat Round 1 until only a few yards of yarn remains and ending at the stitch marker. Change to color B, repeat Round 1 until only a few yards of yarn remains. Bind off and weave in yarn ends.

  5. I am so eager to start this project but when I cast on 75 stitches it doesn't look like even near enough to have a long necklace like cowl. Am I doing something wrong?

    1. Hi Kim,
Nope, that's right - cast on 75 stitches. You'll be amazed at how much this cowl opens up. Just make sure you cast on and bind off loosely.
      Happy knitting :)
