- I will only have one knitting project going at a time. (ha ha ha..off to a rocky start..read on...)
- I will only purchase yarn for a project, not to add to my yarn stash.
- I will not steal needles from one project so I can use them on another project.
- I will use all the yarn in my yarn stash before purchasing new yarn.
- I will not leave a project on the needles with only a few rows to complete.
- If I knit a sock, I will also knit the other one so that I have a completed pair.
- When working on a project, I will write down the pattern information (and where I stopped) so that when I pick it up 2 years later, I will know where I left off.
- I will weave in the yarn ends on a project so that I can check it off as completed.
- If I see a lone ball of yarn on the shelf at my LYS, I will not purchase it so that it is no longer "lonely."
- When knitting a sweater, I will sew the pieces together so I can actually wear the finished garment.
What are your knitting resolutions?
Love it! My Knitting resolution is to actually FINISH one knitting project this year. I would love to say I won't buy yarn unless I need it. But it ain't a gonna happen. I am a yarn addict. I buy it just because it's pretty. Something about walking into a yarn store or yarn section and I am overthrown by alien yarn gremlins.
ReplyDeleteVery funny...I didn't realize my foibles were shared by others ??? How about 11) I will take the time to thread that last end of yarn through the material so that my scarf is actually "Finished". 12) I will not buy new needles just because the size I need has been "left behind" in an unfinished project. 13) I will not start knitting in the morning while still in my pajamas.
