  34. Baby Alpaca Grande is the LOVE of my life, and was the first "Yarn Shop" yarn I ever bought. I've been using Encore a lot lately though, as I've got a whole bunch of small kids, friend's pets, and men to knit/crochet hats with. My first serious projects were two shawl/wraps for Winter using Baby Alpaca Grande (right when I was still learning to crochet, no less!). One for my stepmom, and one for my best friend's mom who was struggling with breast cancer. Baby Alpaca Grande was soft enough and not itchy to bother her, but made her really warm during the late fall.

I already "Like" you guys on FB, so I signed up for you on Twitter, and retweeted. I'll be sharing the link on FB for your contest, and I signed up for the newsletter! If i get the chance, I'll blog about your contest tonight and then follow up with a blog link here!

  175. I am making a sweater with Plymouth Superwash Merino Worsted Kettle-dyed, and I love it! It's definately one of my favorite plymouth yarns, though Baby Alpaca Grande remains a favorite for different types of project. The Superwash Merino Worsted Kettle-dyed is a beautiful colorway, and has a lovely hand. My son can't wait until I finish his sweater and he can wear it.
