Knitting, and knitting...and knitting! Since this is my first WIP (work in progress) Wednesday, I pulled out all my unfinished projects. I'm a bit embarrassed...mittens I started three years ago, a cowl I completed last year and need to post as a free pattern, a cabled cardigan partially done, and a number of beautiful projects tossed aside to begin working with the newest yarn that fell into my lap.
Here are the WIPs still on my needles:
Kollage Cassandra Cowl Kit
This is the Cassandra Cowl Kit from Kollage Yarns. As part of their Feed Your Creativity Series to help you expand your knitting horizon, it features a barrel stitch pattern with a garter stitch edge. The kit includes Kollage Scrumptious (Angora/Silk) yarn. It's very soft and I love that the pattern includes both written and graphed instructions.
Scarf Pattern coming soon from Ewe Ewe Yarns
Mission Falls Nikki Mittens
Don't ask me why these mittens aren't completed. I have no excuse (other than I ripped one of the double pointed needles out of the mitten because I needed it on another project and now there are live stitches just hanging there and i am too lazy to put it back on). Anyway, up to the point of ripping out the needle, I had really enjoyed knitting these Fair Isle mittens. And seeing them photographed makes me want to the them finished. They're pretty! If you want to make your own, they are the Nikki Mittens from Mission Falls For Him and For Her Pattern Booklet. They are knit using 3 colors of Mission Falls 1824 Wool yarn.
Knit Cowl using Plymouth Zino Yarn
Manos Maria Cardigan from Primera Pattern Book
Fingerless Gloves using 1-ball Plymouth Paca Tweed yarn
Simple Scarf using Plymouth Refashion yarn
This simple scarf is coming soon as a free pattern! It's working up fast and I love the texture of Refashion yarn!
I pulled 8 totes out of my closet yesterday all with WIP in them.
ReplyDeleteSuburban Prep,
ReplyDeleteLOL! Why can't we seem to finish our projects?
So glad I'm not alone! I love the look of the colorfully striped scarf. Do you carry the yarn up the side when it's time for that color again or are you cutting it for fringe and starting over? It is yummy!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like there is lots of work to be done! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Patterns!
I have some WIPs as well! It actually bothers me that I do...but life happens, so knitting gets put on the back-burner! ;) I love your projects....they are all looking wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your WIP stash! It truly made me feel less overwhelmed with my WIP; though I am afraid to go looking for my WIP they are all over the house and I'm usually surprised to see them;-)
