The project du jour is a wonderful lace scarf. This project is named the Clouds of Lace Scarf but I think they should have named it "All things Wonderful." Get this...the yarn included is Cashmere, Silk, Baby Alpaca, and Kid Mohair. Oooooo, so decadent!

When I tell you it feels amazing, that is an understatement! I wish I weren't making a scarf to wear around my neck, but a whole blanket I could cacoon in.
If you haven't tried lace knitting before, this is a PERFECT PROJECT for you. It's not too many stitches on the needle, a very nice stitch repeat, and works up quickly.

Here are the skills you need to know:
- knit
- purl
- knit 2 stitches together
- yarn over
That's it! If you aren't so sure about doing a knit2tog or a yarn over I've added some photos and explanations below.

Yarn Over
Abbreviation (yo)
Wrap the yarn around your right needle as if to purl.
Knit 2 stitches together
Abbreviation (k2tog)
Did you know? A k2tog is the easiest way to decrease.
Insert right needle into next TWO stitches, and complete as if you were making a knit stitch.
Now, give lace a chance.
